Located at the base of the French side of the Pyrenees Mountains, this famous town is one of the traditional starting points of the
Way of Saint James (the pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela).
For over a thousand years countless ‘pilgrims’ have walked along this Christian pilgrimage path.
